Dyson DC65
Animal Complete Upright Vacuum Review
The first time I used the Dyson DC65 Animal Complete Upright Vacuum, I thought something must be wrong with it.
I'd gone over a small patch of carpet once, and on the second pass, I couldn't hear anything getting sucked up. With my old vacuum, I could listen to the sand (we live near the beach) getting sucked up on the second and third passes of each small area.
I peeked into the see-through bin and found my answer: Inside rested more sand, fur, and dirt than my old vacuum collected from the entire room.
It uses a patented cyclone technology that tests have shown remove 99.97 percent of dust, dirt, and allergens from the air.
This kind of power has made an enormous difference in my time spent vacuuming, and how clean the carpet is afterward. It also means I'm now able to go an extra day before it's time to vacuum again.
The Vacuum's Best Features
- It has a washable HEPA filter, certified by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
- It has the latest Ball technology so that you can steer it with only one hand.
- It is lightweight for a vacuum at just under 17 pounds.
- A self-adjusting cleaner head automatically changes its height to seal in the air flow across all types of floors, from hardwood to carpet.
