How to clean strand bamboo flooring

by Mariah

I am looking for advice on how to clean our strand bamboo flooring in our family room. We live in the country with two dogs that track in plenty of dirt.

After vacuuming and dusting, I have been using Bona and today I tried Murphy's Wood Oil Soap. Both cleaners have gotten the dirt (and paw prints) up just fine, but both leave a cloudy finish on the floor. I've not been satisfied with the results.

The floors are less than a year old. Please advise!

Use vinegar
by: Huzza

A safe solution to clean the surface of your bamboo floors can be made by combining 1/4 cup of white vinegar with a quart of water. Using a damp sponge or cloth that has been wrung dry before use, apply this cleaner in the same way you would a commercial hardwood cleaner.
